Be what you are, Don't change yourself just to fit in crowd
I read a lot in this for people criticizing"Indians" who live in rented appt and not buying house Or living froogly and all....Everyone is coming different background family history. Every one has full right to live the way they want. We should not be judging based on how they live there life, unless it interfere with your life.
If we (I Or Anyone) decides to live the Americans live like doing camping and stuff over the weekend that is totaly individual preference. We shall never say that families (Indian) who don't like or don't prefer to do out door activity and stuff there kids will have nothing to talk about at school. Eventhough I personally like camping but I don't like camping because just to copy with american.
So Let's please not judge anyone, everyone makes the choice based on whatever they think is best for them. As long as there are not doing that by hurting someone, it's fine.
I wish everyone be happy ( Homeowners OR Non HomeOwners). Live the life at fullest. Living the life to fullest does not mean just spending money. You can be happy by spending time with family, Parents and friends.

Makes sense now, I assume your certificate is issued in a hospital. To enter the details in to the birth registration file, parents usually have to wait till they decide on the name and need to register the birth.

I figured, I have to do what I talk about. I helped register 10+ members last weekend and many more before. I probably exhausted all the people that I know that I can help become members.

My Attorney has sent in more than 2 inquiries with DOL and each time we get the same boilerplate reply saying you are in queue and we are processing it. This is an automated reply as few of my friends even got the same reply with no change except case number.
Also as for as i know there is no time limit as such as 4 months to wait before contacting DOL.

My best guess is the USCIS people do not want to work. If the move the PD's, then they have to scan millions of files to find which ones are having the PD current. So, it is in their interest to not move the PDs.
I think they will again open gates for a month like last year and then approve whatever file comes in their hand and that way not have to work or find the files with the PD current. So, the lucky ones will get approved and unlucky ones will keep sitting until next year (no matter what their PD is ). So, sad what kind of organization is it, no accountability and no performance checks on them.
Honetly I do not beleive that they have millions of files for legal EB immigrants.

78th day and counting....
I e-filed on May 22... FP done. No LUDs
One of the service reps was kind enough to send an expedite request on my behalf. No updates yet on that.
Planning to contact local congressman this week.
This is all so frustrating.. We were waiting for GC now wait for EAD too!! :mad:
My EAD is expiring on Sep 22... and to top all this, my DL is based on EAD.. so from Sep 22 I'll be sitting home doing nothing... :eek:

Majority of approvals thus far are Feb/Jan 06 , when oct/nov guys are still looking forward..Please, dont get me wrong....Systematic approvals helps everyone...as you know the celebration time has come

It shows that we were ahead of them in following events that happened last week. They posted something today that we knew while it was happening last week.!! It is all possible due to the support of our members (small minorty though :( ) that have contributed and enabled us to have the tools to have a foot inside the door on the hill.

Not neccessarily. If you look at the approved 485s from TSC, you will see that large number of them have RDs in June 2007. But according to the published TSC processing times, they have been lagging in April something for the last two months. So I don't really think these "published" processing times really reflect the current work being done at a service center at least when ones PD is current.
so now we have to have PD current processing time for that service center is current and also be lucky so an IO will pick up our application to be processed. (it is actually little depressing)

My logic is, they know LOT(thousands) of PPL will be filing. I think they must have a plan. Cause I don't think they opened the gate to reject the applications. There must be a plan.
