Any one on the same situation?.
Has anyone tried expedite requests .
1)If so , did the expedite requests via fax help?
2)The NCSC do not give us any fax number?
3)What would be the reason we can specify for expedite requests?

I will elaborate. EB2 was current untill September 30th 2005. So where does the 2003 "screeching blah blah" come into effect?
Besides ike I have posted countless times...there were only 2000+ approvals for Labor certifications for India between march2005 and october 2005
and only 7000 labor certifications for India between march 2005 and december 2005.
These include a number of labor certifications for other worker categories. I myself saw at least 500 pipefitters and welders and joiners whose labor certification had been approved from Louisiana (maybe cos of katrina)
so if the priority dates have to move for EB2 they will move to jan 2006 (like the chinese have) or remain at 2004
Perhaps can you start studying bulletins from January 1999 once again please? And I would request you to gather up "major events", "Major law/system related changes" from year 2001 to 2006. Perhaps, yes then you and I will be on the same board.

Seems to be they are centalizing everything in Atlanta.... Not sure if this is causing the delays though
==> 05/02/2008: PERM Application Adjudication Centralization Process in Progress
"Officially, the launch of the PERM labor certification application centralization at the Atlanta National Processing Center will not be completed until June 1, 2008. However, under the transformation schedule, when the Chicago National Processing Center issues "audit notification" on or after mid-April, 2008, the employers are required to submit responses not to the Chicago Center but to the Atlanta Center. Consequently, these cases are de facto centralized at the Atlanta Center even before June 1, 2008."

Friends,
I am going to efile my application. I think the e-file instruction sheet shows to mail it to TSC. Should I be going mailing it to TSC or to the LockBox?
Thanks

Hi,
I am on H1B visa. My parents due to medical condition cannot take care of themselves. Can I get them on H4 visa as dependent? I would like to keep them for 2-3 years in US and take care of them. Please let me know my options.
Thanks in advance.

BharatPremi and other who have put lots of time and thought analyzing-
Can you talk a bit about ROW EB3. Do you think with PD MAY 2004, with EAD, AP on hand, should I try a new EB2 or stick with the old one?
I don't see any problems for ROW - i think your strategy should be wait and watch (at least for the next 6 months)

Hello,
I just called all the offices and mostly their front end people took the message. Most of them knew beforehand of immigration voice and the bill numbers top of their hear. So all who have not done it please do it, it takes only 5 minutes.

I guess a good solution could be. Have a cap for Non-US Masters H1B
and unlimited numbers for US Masters.
This way IEEE gets their way in getting US grads to stay here.

I would say 90 % in the same boat :p No sweat. They will do an immunization test. You could even get the vaccinations taken
I am sure some of us do not have vaccination records, but have gone thru vaccinations back in India....The record keeping is a recent phenomenon...any body in the same boat and have gone thru same phase

The packet was just asking me to confirm my address, and my soliciters address and details. They sent a copy to me, my soliciter, and my employer.
was mailed to me on the 18th of april.
on the cover letter, it said i had been sent these because my PD was about to become current, and or a visa number would be available for me within the next 3- 6 months.
My take on the Mumbi consulate, VB, is just wait and see. It says most other countries, not ROW...and to be honest, i am not guna belive anything untill i see it on the state dept web site. in the full VB which should be out next week.
Im consular processing, im not even on the USA yet, i have had my job held open for the last 2 years.
i carnt see row moving forward that much but i think it will move a little. i dont think it will move back.

FYI
Immigration Voice has FREE lawyer conference calls every week. You could take advantage of this and get your questions answered for free from from some top lawyers. You can even discuss the issue and directly ask follow up questions in the call.
If you come for the advocacy day in DC for lawmaker meetings, we will also have a lawyer there. You can ask your questions directly to the lawyer for free.

Recapture.
Recapture.
Recapture.
Recapture.
Please do not make me say "Recapture" a million times to get my point across.
Spillover is not going to help EB3-I much.
I read on some posts that an executive order may be sufficient to recapture lost visas.
I agree with you. Recapture is ony way out. Spill over was done from 2002 - 2006 and EB3 I was still struck in 2001. Adding 20k visa would barely move EB3 I With all the labor subs that happened in 2007 there are many more people that have jumped the lines. All Spill over can do is barely move Eb3 from 2001 to early / mid 2002 that is all. So for folks post 2004 PD you are struck because by the time your PD gets spillover there will be EB2 I & C fighting for the same visa# that you need. So spill over helps a small section either Eb3 I with PD between 2001 - 2003 or EB2 with PD 2005 - CURRENT. For all others only real chance is recapture

Senate Bill S 1085 is active, Senator Menendez from New jersey.
Please meet or call your Senators office to support, co-sponsor this Bill.
The lame duck Session until end of 2010 is a good time to bring Piece meal Bills.
I see we have 274 members who are interested, This is a good time to get into action, all others please join too!

"It seems that the bill S 1085 (the Reuniting Families Act (RFA) has become active again. I received e-mails from Senator Menedez and Senator Lautenberg talking about the bill. Senator Menendex mentioned the recapture employment-based visas that haven't been used in past years so that they may be used in future years. Among other things, he also mentioned that he will continue to address the concerns of employment-based visas in the context of comprehensive immigration reform. He is the sponsor of the S 1085 bill."
