Well I really think this is reasonable suggestion to factor Priority Date to determine eligibility for citizenship. It could be 5 or 10 years past your priority and only after approval of green card. Currently many people wait for 8 to 10 years for green card and another 5 years to be eligible for citizenship and some lucky ones get green card in 2 to 3 years and citizenship in another 5 years. System should somehow be balanced to have close to uniform wait times towards citizenship for all.
Valid point. what ever it is, if you live in this country as a legal immigrant or non-immigrant for 10 years and paid taxes continuously for 10 years, automatically it should lead to Citizenship.

My case is also similar to yours, My 1st labor was filed 2001 March, and I had to switch my employer and the 2nd labor was Sept 2002, Again I had to switch the employer, And finally 3rd labor was filed on June 2004, cleared around Dec 06 from the BEC .
Still waiting for GC with the Valid H1 ( Until Feb 2011)
I am waiting for the magic email.
Call them. For some it was approved and didnt trigger the e-mail.

People have various reasons for not participating ...its simple basic PR...IV as an organisation needs to frequently remind them of the good work IV has accomplished in maybe a regular newsletter...list out various needs that need attention and require volunteers for clearly defined roles...and be positive and coherent when replying to member's queries. Lashing out at members for asking simple questions is huge "no-no" for any organisation.

Yes ..she can use H4 if H1 is denied. Make sure consulate don`t cancel the H4 visa and the time of H1 B visa interview.

If we have enough budget, we can hire good lobbying firm who can then guide us. Without any contributions, we can not even approach the lobbying firms for any help. The contributions that we make are not even enough for maintenance of this web site.
Why not you guide us? Hire a lobbying firm and inform every one here that it will cost this much and this is how you want to do?
I am not part of IV core. if all of us contribute big money, we can hire the best lobbying. We saw the last results.
The points you are trying to tell contradict the point that you are not part of Core. So lets not look into their account books or ask for any reports how its spent. I trust them on that.

Remember one man who walked with nothing on, except a small waist cloth, very old yet with a motivation to free his country and who did succeed..How was he able to raise his voice when there was no internet or radio. People felt the pain and when one man was leading it, they expressed it.. peacefully mostly.
If we watch videos of the the campaign he did, you will easily realize that that needed money too.. Where did that come from.
Here too many of us feel the pain. EB2 or EB3.. we dont deserve this crap nor did we dream about. Did you think about this when you first stepped into US, if you did more than 4 years back???. NO.
The point I am trying to make is, one you start walking or working in the right direction and motivate people, then contributions and efforts will follow. You dont need to explain so much. Money is not a problem for many to contribute a little.. Afterall it helps them right.. If you take the lead and tell us or start a big campaign.. WHY not the FLOWER CAMPAIGN once again.. Isnt this the right time. It can work anytime as long as the problem is genuine. Why dont we do that. When CIR is talked about by the president, and when undoc workers are doing a march again as one guy here says, then what makes us the legal guys, to sit and wait and predict visa bulletins. EB2 is 04 now.. Next month that will change to U. Do you want to wait for that.
We need a FIX.. and that has to be said loud and clear.,

Most free forums would like to increase hits, by spreading misleading information and having a paid member incite arguments, spread rumors - the popular porting one, or India, China, ROW one, to generate more hits. thats how they make money.
Its time for people to look beyond all that and do the only real thing that works - That is meeting law makers.
One of the best ways to do this is Direclty in Washington DC.
This is our only real chance until 2013.

If we can do something like that, cant we compensate the delay that is causing in getting GC, in the citizenship process and reduce the effective damage. Not sure what was your reason to become so furious. This was in-fact a good idea and must be considered upon.

Actually, H.R. 5921: High Skilled Per Country Level Elimination Act is equally important. Why am I from India being discriminated against as compared to my neighbor from some other country if we are doing the same job for the same company. That way if everybody is in the same boat maybe there will be more uproar about 5882 because I'm sure other populations are more vocal than Indians and Chinese.

I am in the same situation. My attorney advised me to have one with my name if possible. I scanned mine and my wife's Birth certificate and sent it to my Dad in India. He said that he will get the original in 2 days. Looks like it is a straight forward process. You could just send it with a copy of ur passport.
P.S: They would need the copies to be notarized before taking it to corporation or municipality

I e-filed on 2nd June at TSC and around 22nd June, I went for FP. I received CPO email yesterday. I had not seen any LUD after FP. I guess, calling USCIS helps so please keep calling and request them that you need EAD badly. I remember , a couple of days back when I was talking to an lady IO, she said, she can send a request to IO but there is no guarantee that it will help. I guess, that might have made difference. So I would strongly suggest to keep talking to them.

received approval notice for myself and my son today in the mail. The status update on the website still shows pending. Didn't receive any email or SMS.
We are still waiting for my wife's approval notice. Probably got delayed somewhere in the mail.

1. Do you plan to buy stocks directly from the companies or use a broker like TdAmeritrade, Charles Swab etc.,
2. Is there going to be one trading style like you mentioned about Pattern Day Trading.
3. Is there a plan to conduct some series of tutorials or sort and practice at our own risk without supervision
4. Will there be any local, phone or online meet
5. Above all how is it going to BENEFIT IV.
